Covéa Insurance’s rapid growth has also led to the company entering into the long-term lease of A&B mills, the last of the remaining ‘Great Mills’ to be renovated at Dean Clough.

The company has made a multi-million pound investment to sympathetically restore the six-storey structure.

he conversion of the 75,000sq ft. former 1840s carpet mill, into a bright, modern 21st century office space, will house the insurer’s current Halifax workforce of 650 and supports the company’s current and longer-term growth plans, with space for up to 850 employees at full capacity, cementing the insurer’s position as a major employer in the region.
